My 16th Birthday Party

Monday was my 16th birthday. When I was at school that day I went into the locker room to get ready for PE, and a couple of girls yelled Happy Birthday. My friend Meghan gave me a batch of cookies and a big boquet of balloons. It was so sweet. I had actually forgotten that I even told her when my birthday was. Because of the big boquet of balloons being very obvious, everyone was telling me happy birthday. My PE teacher said that when he saw me coming into the gym with the big boquet of balloons, he figured it was my birthday, so he told me happy birthday. My math teacher did too. He knew by a card with my info on it.
That evening after I got home from school I had a birthday party. Everyone who came were the
G- family, the D- family, Sherry, Amber, Franklin, Emerson, Sister Joyce, Sierra, and the W- family.
For my birthday I got a tray that you can use to do your homework on from my parrents, it's also used to eat off of. I also got a card, markers and a color pad from Sierra, a card and a hand made pouch from the G- family, a card and devotional journal from Sherry, a card and a purse from the D- family, a starbucks card, pen, bookmark, and a Hershey's milk chocolate candy bar from the W- family. I think my two favorite gifts were the bookmark and the devotional journal.
For dinner we had potatoe soup and garlic bread. For dessert we had Shane's homemade oreo ice cream cake. I had a good time.

Fall is coming up very soon and I'm looking forward to it. I like to decorate the house and have fires in the fireplace. One of my favorite things about fall is raking the leaves with Shane. I also like Thanksgiving, spending time with friends and family. My birthday is in that season too. I also like going to Apple Hill and browsing through all the festive shops. Some other little things I love about fall are rainy days, drinking hot cocoa, eating apple crisp and lots more. Four more days!!! Happy fall everybody!

Going To Public High School

Wednesday the 17th I started public high school. I am going to Rocklin High. This is my first time going to public school. I really like it. My subjects are math, PE, Life skills, and others. (I don't remember all of them) I have like 4 classes a day. I have 8 all together.
I have already made friends. The girls are Taylor, Na, Clarissa, Breezy, Ann Alysa, Samantha, and another girl. (I don't remember her name) The boys' names are Martin, (pronounced like Spanish) and Johnny. Martin, Johnny, and Clarissa all ride the same bus as me. Martin and I all way's talk on the way to school.
So far in PE we've only done push ups and crunches, walked laps outside, and something else. Those were for warm ups. We are starting real PE this week.
We also talk to each other in school about what we did over the weekend or what we are going to do. We write about it in our notebooks also.
Usually I spend my free time reading or playing a game with friends. Ann Alysa and I talk a lot together. She knows the area really well too. I really like school a lot.

Going To Six Flags

Wednesday I went to Six Flags with my Bible Story Time class. James and Joy went with us too because they were going to have another set of adults go. Everyone in from my class that went were Kolten, Katey, Craig, Mike, Alicia and a friend of her's, and Connor. And I think that was it.
Joy and Sister Becky both had walky talkies with them in the car. On the way up Brother Ross got on it and said in a deep voice,"Hey can I take your order?" And Joy gets on and go's,"HUH?" LOL! It was so funny. Brother Ross started cracking up. We also sang "I've Got The Joy Joy Joy Joy Down In My Heart" to them.
The very first ride I rode on was madusa. Brother Ross put his arms up in the air and yelled, "Everybody put your hands up" across the whole roller coaster. I put my hands up in the air. I would put them down like every three seconds 'cause I'd be afraid my hands would hit the roller coaster. James told me that I'm brave putting my arms up in the air.
Sister Becky and I rode one together. It was one of those rides that spin as you ride. Sister Becky fell against me right after it started. We laughed the whole time. It was pretty histerrical.
Brother Ross and I rode the log ride and I got so wet. When James saw me he said,"Man Priscilla you sure got wet."
We also looked at a sting-ray and watched the dolphin show too. The dolphin show was really cute.
We also rode a swing that span around in a circle.
Before we left Brother Ross that we could ride on one more ride and we all yelled, "MADUSA!" At least I did. So we rode madusa. We had a lot of fun.

Visiting Lincoln High School

Today I made tuna fish sandwiches for lunch. I made one for me and my dad. We had potato chips with it. Tuna is my dad's favorite kind of sandwich.
I also went down to Lincoln High School with my mom and dad to check it out to see if it would be a good school for me next year. I liked the teacher but I wasn't sure about the school. Seeing all the kids seemed like it wasn't really something good for me because they kind of seemed like they were a higher level than what I need. What I think I need is a school that is more schooling in life skills. My mom and dad and the lady we met with, all thought the same thing. Next we will visit Rocklin High School. They have a life skills class.

Making a Volcano

Today for Science, Stephanie and I made a volcano. We took some clay and shaped it into a volcano. Then inside we put two teaspoons of baking soda and a couple drops of red food coloring. Last I poured in vinegar. Then the volcano erupted. Out came some pink fizz that was supposed to be like the hot lava. It was interesting and fun.

Valentines Day Celebration

On Valentines Day Mom and I spent the day making cards.

The next day went to the D- family's house for a celebration. First we all exchanged Valentine cards. Then Sister Shirley did a lesson on keeping a healthy heart. She also talked about keeping your spiritual heart clean.

Then we all prepared a healthy lunch. Felecia and Chelsea made chicken nuggets.

Me, Sierra, Eva, Grace, Katey, and Alexis all helped cut up vegetables and fruit.

I peeled oranges and cut up apples.

Grace did celery.

Katey did melons.

Eva cut radishes.

Sierra watched.

Shirley showed us how we could put fruit in water for a heart healthy drink.

After lunch we played for awhile and then helped clean up the kitchen. It was a good healthy heart day.

My Goals For 2011

These are my goals I wrote out for 2o11:

1. Get at least 3 souls saved this year

2. Get good grades in school

3. Draw closer to God and be more like him all year

4. Be stronger and healthier this year than last year

5. Go walking every morning that I can.

6. Get better at the piano so I can play more songs at church.

My favorite one is bold faced.
